Re: Dell computer and JFW

I'm no programmer or engineer, but I can only report what I have observed.
For instance, When I had office on this system running xp, My system crashed
big time. When I had window eyes on this system running xp, I had strange
issues with and or without jaws running and with window eyes running.
Without window eyes on this xp system, I have an issue now and then but not
hearly what I had when window eyes was on this system. I'm not saying
window eyes is a bad software package. I'm only reporting what has happened
to me and others I have observed. I can also report that there are some for
whome it seems window eyes and jaws can hapily reside on the system along
with office with no problems at all.

david when m s released millenium o s they maid it very hard tomodify the
windows system files by software installation, as a result software today
hardly ever modifies the system files.
other than the obvious files that are supposed to be modified like registry.

that is why the c:\program files\common files folder was added.

so programs would stop jeopardizing the stability of the o s it self
by modifying files in c:\windows folder.
which could result in the o s not booting up.
this is one reason newer windows operating systems are more stable.

so if jfw is crashing they should look at actual files loaded in the
background via start up or registry entries and not chase some red herring.

some thing else running in memory is more likely the cause to jfw crashing.
