actually i know very little about braille displays, do not own one my self.

just happen to no a few pieces of info via friends and reviews i read.

as far as your specific questions concerning braille and win eyes is
concern james is right, try the window eyes e mail list and their you can
learn the ropes with that apt and its braille support.

as far as the fact jfw used to work so well with alva, well thats a story
in it self.

their used to be a guy on this list that scripted better than anybody else
and he used the alva display.

and every time jfw released a new version the first thing this guy did was
re do the default script for jfw.

guess what he fixed.

would you believe the focus issue jfw has.

in fact every time jfw introduced a new release this guy would refix the
focus issue jfw had.

he also did about 10 other things to the default to improve them.

so the focus issue with jfw goes way back and it could be fixed if they
wanted to put the effort into doing so.

so you may ask what happen to the great free scripts for jfw and the
wonderful work this guy performed.

well freedom scientific gave him a job and his work continues and think he
is responsible for much of the offfice stuff, but unfortunately he is no
longer around to fix other little things for us for free.

so my point of this long story, is that he is the main reason jfw works so
well for alva.

as i told you he used the alva him self and that explains the great support
for that product.

he is also from a differant country where the telesensory stuff is not as
popular.

one last point, you ask certain questions about certain web sites, i
suggest you rephrase your questions with differant subject line to see if
your the only one having this issue.
in addition they may assist you with learning those sites.
