That's interesting! I'm also running SP2. Have you been told by someone at
Freedom Scientific that the inclusion of SP2 in your Windows operating
system affects Jaws and dictates that you use different settings in several
areas of Windows in order to allow Jaws to work optimally?
My first thought is that SP2, so far as I've ever heard, is an array of
updates and patches that is primarily concerned with fixing holes in various
parts of Windows and its bundled software (such as Outlook Express and
Internet Explorer) that are rendered vulnerable by the plain Windows XP.
So, this doesn't sound as if it necessarily involves any changes at all to
the interface, which is what Jaws functionality is concerned with.
Anybody know?

Hi,
I read the Help Section and related email messages first. I said I had
installed Service pack 2 so I was told (incorrectly) to use a Desk top
Theme of Windows Classic.
I was also told that having installed Service Pack 2 not to do a JAWS
repair or remove and re installJAWS 6 which were my very first
questions.
The suggested "theme" was because of Service Pack 2 which JAWS Help does
not cover.
