CreatObject COM class

Good evening,

Having some difficulty getting a COM object to be created in JAWS.

The COM class is registered on my computer and works in both C++ and 
Javascript.  In Jaws the object is always returned null.

Does anyone know what the requirements are of an COM class to be successfully 
created by the CreatObject function?
