Computer maintenance question

Hello everyone:
I would like some information with regard to the following question. When
performing suchtasks asdoing maintenance, should you perform a disk defrag
and then disk cleanup or does one do the cleanup and then disk defrag. Also,
is this particular information contained within either the jaws help topics
or is it contained within the windows help system. Any help would be very
appreciated, as well as any advice. Many thank's,
