hi TerriLynne when you group messages by conversation the reply messages, , are in the group when it is collapsed to expand the group so messages are showing, press right arrow now all the other messages in this group are showing, to collapsed, the messages you have to be on the first one then press left arrow now the messages are collapsed and hidden from view try this, with messages collapsed press insert up arrow let say you hear, 20 messages now press insert page down numpad 3 now you hear, 50 messages that tells you that 30 messages are collapsed and hidden from view when you , want to delete the entire conversation or group of messagess and it is collapsed and you press delete and you get a message about warning you are about to delete the collapsed messages too tab to the check box do not show this warning again spacebar the check box then tab to the ok button and you won't see dat message again ----- Origina l Message ----- From: "TerriLynne" <terri_lynne@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "jfw" <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, February 27, 2005 5:17 PM Subject: Collapsed threads in OE Hi all, Unfortunately, I was looking through the menus and experimenting a little, and now when I go to delete a message, I get a message from OE telling me that the whole "collapsed" thread" will be deleted. But, it looks to me as though this is not true, as other letters/emails with the same subject line are still in my inbox. I don't want to receive this message, and, in most cases, I don't want to delete a whole thread at a time. I have gone back into the menus and hit enter on expand, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. So, my questions are, for this subject, 1. which JAWS keystrokes can I use to change the whole collapsed thread thing, and 2. Is there a way to occasionally delete an entire thread?
