Hi Jim, It is possible to have Sapi5 as your default synthesizer. Here are the instructions on how to do this. 1. Open the Configuration manager. 2. Press controll Shift D to open the Default.jcf file. 3. Go to the menu bar and look for the set options menu. 4. Arrow down until you hear JFW say "Synthesizer options."5. A new dialog will come up with focus on the default synthesizer combo box.
6. in this combo box, select Sapi 5 from the choices listed. 7. tab until you hear the OK button. 8. Press inter on that button and the dialog will then close.9. press Controll and S to save your changes and then close the Configuration Manager.
Hope this helps and have a great day! Jeff----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Portillo" <jp100@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

It works fine, but I find that I have to always switch back to them every time I reboot. Is there a way of saving these settings to where they automatically come up when the computer boots up?I'd like the realspeak voices to come up automatically.
