Changing input/output recording levels using Jaws

Hi All.

 

Using Windows xp, Jaws 9 and a realtech sound card.

 

Can anyone advise how to change the recording levels on the sound card using
Jaws?  It was done remotely by a friend, but I was wondering how I could do
it myself.
