If memory serves open the configuration manager and then hit control shift D
to bring up the default configuration file. Then hit alt + S and arrow down
to synthesizer options and hit enter. From there you should be fine. Just
arrow to the one you want and hit enter. Then control + S and exit.

Subject: Changing default synthesizer in JFW 3.7
Hi there.
I need to explain to someone how to change default synth in Jaws 3.7. It
seems to me that the menu structure for that changed in 4.0, but I really
don't remember, and I don't have Jaws 3.7 installed anywhere that I can go
look. Does anyone know?
Thanks much. The memory gets fuzzy after awhile.
Ann
