RE: Changing Jaws Voices

Thanks a lot for the responses I got. I was able to make the
changes I wanted and make them stick.

Thanks for the help.

Best Regards

Hi, you can actually change the person using the global voice adjustment
dialogue box as well, providing the synthesizer is set to something other
than Eloquence or No Speech I guess. Hope that helps.

Hit insert control S as in synth. Arrow down to sapi 5 and hit enter. Next
pull up the Jaws context menu with insert, or Jaws key, J. Open options then
voices. Enter on individual voice adjustment. Tab to a "person" combo box
which should contain all your sapi 5 voices. You may arrow among them. When
you find Karen tab to OK and hit it. This is temporary. To change
permanently, I'm sure someone else can advise.
