1280 works fine on my widescreen laptop with adobe and jaws 8.

I appreciate your answer.
My point is that resolutions like 1152 and 1280--and those are some of the
resolutions thatsome on-board Adobe versions comewith on laptops--do not
work with JAWS.
You areright 1024 isthe best resolution; manufacturers want some laptop
users of the wide screens to leave 1024 resolution and go higher which is
why I postedmy comments.
Tech Support is right in so far as JAWS works in 1280 etal,but the Adobe
versions that are out there do not in my humble opinion.
