hmmm, what version of windows are you running? 98? XP?
XP cleans up after itself pretty well I've had it on this work computer for
over 2 years and everything still runs fairly well. I've had xp on my home
computer for 4 years and it is starting to slow down quite a bit. 3 or 4
minutes at bootup.

98SE didn't clean house very well and can drasticly slow down after a year or
2

other things you might think about, is getting a cleaner for ad aware, spy
ware, etc. Defragging all that fun stuff.

What else could cause computers to be slow? I have alot of memory and ram
so It should not be slow but it is.

Well, it's no secret JFW can at times be resource intensive. But,
somehow, I doubt the performance hit you take running it will be very
much different from if you didn't have it running. Particularly on
today's computers. I've run several processes I know full well are
more resource intensive than JFW, and this computer's nothing
special, but it was still fairly fast all things considered.
