Thank you all for helping me, I got it to work finally. Now I ask, how am I able to switch to MP3 rather than having my tracks converted into Wav? Thanks.

Hi Chris ,

How could this be so simple?
I struggled a while with this read only edit box and after reding the manual I learned about the ellipsis button. But after all the solution you provided is far more simple.

Thanx for this useful lesson.

Hi Harald,
Another way you can change directories in CDex is fairly simple. Once you
go to the file name tab in the configuration dialog box, tab two or three
times to get to the text box that has the current directory listed. Just
hit enter while sitting in that text box. A new window will appear that
will put you in a browse tree view that will allow you to pick the directory
you want.
Hope this helps,
Chris Chaffin

Hi,

This is a bit tricky for the first time.
There is a button just after the text box with the current location.
If you move the JAWS cursor to the edit box and then move one word up you
land at this button. The button has elipses on it.
Perform a left mouse click and a dialog box comes up and let you change
the locations.

Hope this helps.

Hi, am starting to use CDEX but want to change the file where the
extracted
mp3 and wav files are stores from my C drive to my D drive. Can't seem to
find out how on the CDEX menus, help please?
