Messagewell, in the earlier versions of jaws there was a fix to turn off the
top&bottom alert, but, I'm not sure if you can make it program specific.

Press insert-v for the adjust JAWS options dialog and arrow down. On my
system, it's the fourth item. Press spacebar to have JAWS produce a sound at
the top and bottom edges, then press enter to preserve your choice.
