Dave,

Yes, you are correct. And when I have collected a number of unchecked items
over a period of time, I go to the Registry and delete the keys there. So I was
being somewhat metaphorical and misleading.

  Farfar:

You cannot delete items in the MSConfig program, you can only check or
uncheck an item.

    Two places:

    1. Windows+r, then type in MSConfig and press enter.
    Ctrl+Tab to the startup page.
List contains "stuff" that loads automatically when you start Windows.
    Delete with care.

    2. Start/Programs/Startup
    arrow to undesired application.
App key or shift+f10 for context menu
Select Delete anything there you don't want starting

    Repeat until satisfied.

Hi folks. Got a question about the programs that load at start-up. Is
there a way jaws users can find what programs are loading at start-up and
disable them. Several programs are starting that I don't need, when my
computer boots up. Thanks for the help.
