Live Mail is woirking pretty well but I am sure things re not right
with it.
I can do just about everything with it and all is well but there are definately
issues with this program.
One such problem is that when I tab away from the program and do other things:
on returning jaws seems to be stuck in where I left it nothing will work it is
as though it has lost focus. Using the Go to option fixes this but this
problem is and has always been there for me.
To a totally blind user unless they are told or just stumble across it the
contacts address book will not be found. This was pointed out by another very
helptul member, using f6 or Control 3 which has no reference to these options
anywhere will find it.
I am sure you have seen my previous messages on the messinger problem which
other people seem to be suffering with this as well.
Example:
Typing the following into messinger:
Hi how are you
will come out like this
how are youHi
Notice no space.

Hi, I’m using Live Mail and Mesenger 2011 with no problems. My intention is to
do a podcast (my first) to demonstrate how I have set up Live Mail to work very
wel including geting jaws to anounce unread mesages, and whether or not ther is
a thread, and if so, is it colllapsed or expanded. Not sure when I’l get to do
it but hopefuly one evening next week.

Well if I was yu I would stay with 2009.
I am using the latest 2011 but in all honesy it is not quite right yet.
I have been patiently waiting for FS to do do something wit it which I am sure
they will eventually but nothing is coming yet, I wonder if anyone knows therir
intentions for this and when?
I guess they wont update 12 just yet as it as only been out for a few weeks
anyway and I still have not got my disc , I realise that is probably my
supplier and not them.
I cannot use messinger but apparently others can.

Dear list members, as my subject says I was wondering. Because I would like to
download it but have two questions.
1. At present how well does windows live mail work with Jaws 12? and
2. When I downloaded it in "beta form" with horror, I saw that all my email
contacts were gone! But by some miracle, when I downgraded backto the 2009
version, they were still there. Obviously now its out of beta form I don't want
to go ahead and take the dive because I need my contacts because some of them
are contacts for my tutors at my college and the last thing I want to do is
loos them. So I was also wondering how do Jaws members back up there email
addresses? I have never done this yet so am looking forward to having some
knollage on this area.

p.s.
I am awear that when I used the Beta that they have introduced the ribbon
system and I was wondering how well is that working with the Virtual ribbon
that was introduced in Jaws 12?
