=95bot search and destroy can remove hi jackers and also prevent the=20
installation of them, here is how.


launch the bot search and destroy, pick advanced mode, then pick tools.

check active x and check b h o


now run the program full spy bot scan and it will not only remove it but=20
also registry entries in the process thatmay allow it to reinstall again.

to prevent installation do this.

run the programs full scan.

in left pain pick imunize button
pick imunize button then install button.

find the check box that says
lock host file  read only as protection  against hi jackers.



spy bot can also block adds based on a data base comparison.
if you have an add blocker do not use this step, let your add blocker do=20
the task instead.
assuming your add blocker is a decent one.

also if you want to do this step you need to do so prior to preventing hi=20
jackers mentioned above.
so implement this add blocker step prior to hi jack protection.

pick advanced then tools then host file in left pain.

find the button labelled
add spy bot host list.


then give it 10 minutes to do its thing.
