Have you tried a different USB cable?

Hi all,

I still haven't managed to make my Braille display work, and your help would
be greatly appreciated. Furthermore, this Friday I am supposed to train a
group of mainstream teachers on visual impairment, and I would try to show
my laptop working with the Braille display. All what the display does as
soon as I plug it is that the name "Focus 40 3.70" appears, but it does not
react to anything else at all.

Best regards,
Gezim

Hi, have you tried a different uSb port? Do you have Magic jack? I cannot
install any other USB device while using magic jack.

Hi all,

I recently got a Focus 40 3.70 Braille display. At the beginning it worked
fine, but today when I connected it through the USB, it did not function.
Basically, only the name of the display appears in Braille and that's all. I
tried to install it under the JAWS speech and Braille synthesizers, but with
no success.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Gezim
