Dear List:
Being a former engineer for ALVA and user of many Braille displays over 20
years, it all relates to the drivers that all manufactures write for any
screen reader and how they are adapted into the product.
What ever driver is written by Baum, ALVA, Tieman, etc determine the
functions how the product works with Jaws. I saw features in different
versions of the ALVA Satellite change with Jaws functions as the drivers
changed.
So if the display functions needed to be improved to support Jaws then the
users need to inform the hardware manufactures of the loss of support from
one version to another to see changes in support for Jaws.
Sincerely,
Christopher McMillan
