Yeah, that's correct. It does mean what you think it means. The reason is that uncompressed, the basic training takes up about 400MB, so it would make the JFW package such a lot more bulky to include the basic training! I don't think it means to say what it appears to say. DAISY Training Materials The JAWS Basic Training and What's New are now located on the program CD and are available in a digital format called DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System). Because this training is in digital (or electronic) format, navigation between sections of a book or other digital documents is much easier than using audio cassettes or CDs. You choose whether to install the training material during the JAWS installation. The training materials are installed in the Training\Enu folder (located in the folder where you installed JAWS). You can read and listen to the training material using the free FSReader Demo DAISY reader. Note: If you downloaded JAWS from the Freedom Scientific Web site, you cannot install the Basic Training. -- To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
