I thought of that but why buy a pretty useless usb floppy drive just to
authorize Jawss?

Hi, I'm late into this thread, but couldn't it be authorised using a USB
floppy drive? Barry G

I would guess that the first thing to do would be to speak directly to =
=3D
=3D3D
Freedom Scientific. There used to be a way to move authorization from =
=3D
a =3D3D
floppy on another computer so long as the Jaws computer has access =
=3D3D
rights to that computer. Apparently it is no different than sharing =
=3D
=3D3D
other networked peripheral devices like CD-ROM drives or printers. So, =
=3D
=3D3D
another computer on the network with a floppy drive can be used to =
=3D3D
authorize a networked computer without a floppy drive. This may no =
=3D3D
longer be true but certainly it once was. The computer you are =3D
connected =3D3D
to should be able to provide you with the floppy for authorization as =
=3D
=3D3D
well as a CD for software installation.
Check with Freedom Scientific, surely they will know for sure.
