Ken,

Thanks for the response. Yes, I've tried rebooting, tried running a Jaws
repair, and so forth. And it isn't just as if I didn't have the scripts,
it's more like random behavior I never encountered before. For instance,
when I do manage to tab into the folder view (and thanks for that keystroke,
I never knew about it nor felt the need for something more than the tab key,
heretofore), the folders no longer speak their names, but only their levels.
My Library, for instance, will announce itself as "Zero, closed," and then
as "zero, open," if I right arrow. And the subfolders I've created beneath
it announce themselves now only as their levels. One, mostly.

I've described other misbehavior on the Audible list, just now, in response
to a suggestion by Anna. I just don't know.

I honestly do understand that it's not likely anything's gone wrong with the
scripts. But I was hoping that if this stuff suggests a deeper problem with
my system or with Audible Manager at least, my describing what's happening
might point to something that could in turn be pointed out to me as a
solution.

Well, if I manage to resurrect Audible Manager 5 complete with your scripts,
I will mention it and describe how the fix was accomplished.

Thanks again for replying.

Yardbird -

I appreciate the detail you went into describing your problem, but I must
be honest that I haven't a clue what went wrong. It's highly unlikely that
the scripts just stopped working. It's more likely that something changed
in your copy of AudibleManager. I assume you've tried rebooting your
system to see if that solves the problem. If not, you should try
that. Remember that the keystroke Control+Shift+B will always take you
back to the Library list view. If none of this helps, then you might want
to try to delete and then reinstall AudibleManager. Beyond those
suggestions, I'm stumped.
Best regards,
Ken
