Grant, I am using Norton 2003, 1.8 Athlon XP with 1 gig RAM, 80 Gig hd, XP Home, JAWS 5.0. I keep Norton current but, when I installed AVG it found some 17 little viri lurking there. AVG has trapped a great number of things which Norton seems to have missed. It does take Norton about 55 or so minutes to do a scan and I usually don't do anything while it it running. JAWS does work well with Norton while it is doing the scan. JAWS also works well with AVG while AVG is scanning and it takes AVG about 27 minutes to do its scan. AVGT seems to do a good job of keeping track of would be unwanted things but I do use both. Well guys, I'm going to end this debate with these words: Norton AntiVirus is slow on my computer. Period. I'm not saying anything about it not working on other computers. Don't have a web interface here it all runs in the background when I do scan. Mine has a active scan that looks at anything new coming in that way it cuts down on doing a whole system scan when not needed. You many want to try Norton corp it does only what you tell it to and no updating yearly stuff. At 02:23 PM 1/30/04 -0800, you wrote: >Hello, >Actually, that is not true.
