Oh, thank you.  I just priced Open Book and there is no way that I can afford 
such a thing.  I wish they would not charge so much for important things like 
this, it makes some of us have to do without being able to read important 
documents.  I think it's sad, to say the least.  This is a health matter and is 
vital information.

Kathy, it sounds to me like what you've got there is a .PDF that's really a 
scanned image of a document.  This will require you to run OCR on it.  IF you 
can't do this yourself because you don't have an OCR program on your machine, 
send it to me and I'll try to decode it for you.

Hello,

I received a PDF document from my doctor's office and when I opened it,   was 
told it was an empty document and Jaws could not read it.

I remember we had a discussion about this at one point but cannot recall what 
was said.  Can someone tell me how I can read this document using Jaws?

I am using XP Home and Jaws 9.
