Re: Adjusting th volume of the real speak voices

well Ted. At first I thought Samantha was a lesbian. I didn't like her. I thought she was too loud and rough. Turns out she likes men and we are getting along just fine. hahahahahahah. She is the clearest voice I think.

Yep, she's not shy, is she?

I've never tried running two cards, especially as today's multichannel
cards can give me JAWS and a DVD, CD, or whatever, at the same time, if
necessary. I think I'd defer to FS on that one. If they don't have a
bulletin on the subject, it's probably something they need to address.

Hi Ted. I didn't know it was possible to change the volume of the
RealSpeak
voices till I read your tips. I needed to turn down Samantha cause she
was
such a loud mouth. <grin>

But, now I have a new problem. Now the RealSpeak voices are coming
through
my second audio card instead of my default card. Eloquence is still
coming
from the default card. I hope there is a way to get Jaws to send The
SAPI 5
voices through the default card again.

What I do is hot switch to the RealSpeak voice (JAWS-Ctrl-S, then use
the JAWS voice menu to set the volume. Try to get it as close as you
can to eloquence, to avoid a jarring transition.
