Generally, when you install Winamp, all the windows for the functions that you
would use ALT+G and ALT+E, to open those windows, if they were closed, are open
by default.

To switch between each open window, use CTRL+TAB.

To close any of the windows that have focus, use CTRL+F4.

Ok, I am using the latest winamp. alt g or alt e isn't saying anything, at
least jfw isn't saying a word. What should I be hearing after pressing alt g or
alt e?

  Hey.

It's for every version of winamp going back to who knows when. Nothing has
changed. Just to be safe though I do set my visualisation to "classic". The
keyboard commands haven't altered since I started using the programme in
1999....

Is this for the new winamp version?

I had been getting prompts for an updated version of winamp but have been
afraid to do it because I thought I couldn't use the same commands to go back
and forward. At least you can use left arrow to go back, right arrow to go
forward, etc.

Alt-g; alt-e is for the playlist editor. You cycle through the winamp
windows with control-tab.

when you're in the winamp equalizer do a left and right arrow for
panning. to turn equalizer on, i think its alt-e to toggle it on and off.

Does anyone know how to adjust the winamp volume balance using jaws.
I'm using winamp and the sound suddenly started only coming out of one speaker.
Jaws comes out of both, and windows media player's fine too. It's just in
winamp, and all my sound card settings are fine. I'm pretty sure it's something
in winamp, but I can't figure out a keystroke that will fix it.
