That's brilliant. I never thought of trying a context key in this context, to
put it amusingly. I'll do that.

Daniel,
The control L keystroke is actually a keystroke that is built in to the new
scripts.
Try these steps and see if they work for you until the new scripts are updated.
1. When the scan is complete, hit control N for next.
2. You can try the control L keystroke to see if it puts you in the list of
items. If not, you can tab around until you get to it. You do not have to hit
the arrow keys in this list view. I do not know if Jaws will say list, or list
view.
3. Hit the application key
4. Arrow down to select all, and hit enter. This will select all the items in
the list.
5. Then hit control N for next.
6. A dialog box will come up informing you that you are about to delete those
items. Just hit the space bar on the ok button.
7. Your done!
I really hope this helps!

  Hi Steve,

One question, after following your directions to bypass the scan summary
button and the critical objects tab (I assume you wrote these instructions to
bypass these steps that for some of us aren't accessible with the scripts yet):

You say to press control L to get to the list view. Now, I'm not a user who
cares to examine what's been detected, and then choose some items for
treatment but exclude others. that's why I liked the Mark All command before.
But you can't use it, of course, if you aren't on the Critical Objects tab.

So here you are in this list view, instead. Is this actually a list of those
critical objects, which you now have to select manually?

If so, what can you do to mark them all as automatically as possible? Are
they all selected by default, for instance, so that you can just press control
N for Next and have them marked for treatment thereby? Or, if you do have to
press the spacebar, how does it work here?

I found that when a Jaws say line identifies an item in this list view, if I
press space bar, Jaws says "unselected." If I press the space bar again, it
*again* says "unselected." I gave up and just hit control N, anyway, and got
the message that the two objects were going to be removed. That's fine,
because that's what I heard was found at the end of the scan, although I must
say that in this list view, only one entry appeared from which I couldn't find
any others by pressing my up and down arrow keys. Something about family
something or other. But still, when I pressed control N, the program said it
was removing the *two* objects it had reported finding. This is all mysterious
to me.

anyway, I pressed space bar on Okay, and the task was done. But what was I
not understanding as I blundered through this and came out okay, somehow?

  thanks a lot.

  Well, folks, I stand corrected.
After a scan finishes, you hit space bar or control-n to get to the results
screen. Do a control-l to go to the listview. Now, when you hit space bar, this
will only check the items in the MRU, or neligible list. It does not check the
items in the critical objects. To get to the critical items page, do a backtab
then a right arrow, then a tab. Now you can do a control-m and this time it
should work. Then, do a control-n, and a dialog box should open, telling you
how many will be removed. Hit space bar for okay on this, and you're done.
It's interesting that the "mark all" doesn't mark the neglible items.
  Hope this helps.
