Hi,

I did read the instructions very carefully. However, thanks for reminding
me of these critical steps. When the scan is finished, what I land on is
not the Scan Summary tab. I'm sorry if I didn't make that sufficiently
clear. Okay, Bruce? The Scan Summary Tab does not appear at all, as I
explained in my response to Dean. No, I didn't have the jaws cursor on, but
thanks for reminding me. Okay, Bruce?

Thanks. I don't think I'm misunderstanding the instructions or doing
anything wrong in relation to them. I think Dean has some idea of what's
happening here. Let's go forward with this exploration and see what is
happening.

Thank you, Daniel

Hi Daniel,
I also did the test, and the tab that you are getting silence on is the scan
summary tab.
When the scan is complete, and you hit control N, do you then hear, scan
results page, scan summary tab?
You see, the scan results page is made up of four different tabs, just as
Dean outlined in his help file. Ad-aware by default automatically lands on
the scan summary tab. You can delete things from this tab, but to use the
control M hotkey, you must arrow right from the scan summary tab to the
critical objects tab.
By chance, is your Jaws cursor on when you hit control N after the scan?
You can make sure by hitting the PC cursor key before hitting the control N
after the scan.
The reason I ask is because this happened to me!
Hope this helps,
Chris Chaffin
