Hi,

Yes Adaware and SpyBot SD find totally different things and both are essintial.
Also Windows Defender will pick up different things as well. and don't
forget your Anti-virus software. These days you can't ever have enough
scanning programs if your going to travel the internet on a regular basis.

Rick

  Hi Julie,

You say that if you have both Spybot and AdAware, each of them picks up stuff
that the other misses. I've heard this said before, but I wonder, how do you
know? Do you inspect what each program has caught every time you do a scan
with one of them, for instance?

  Thanks.

I don't think either one is better than the other, and having both isn't a
bad idea. They both pick up things the others don't. I got my versions from
the JFW Lite page, and of course have updated them since, but that's where
mine came from originally. Take care.
