Ad Shield program no longer needed?

I hear service pack 2 adds a pop up blocker to the Internet
Explorer browser and since I use Ad Shield at the moment and can
be obtained via jfwlite site. Do I need to have Ad Shield since
SP 2 will add a pop up blocker?
Any info is appreciated.
