I am using AVG version 8 with no difficulty.
Since Freedom Scientific released the last update it has been working
without a problem.
Only thing about it is that it is totally different than 7.5. It's
interface is not laid out the same so it just takes some getting used to.

Why should any of us have to jump through hoops to use ABG 8.0? There's
absolutely nothing wrong with 7.5, so anyone who updated to 8.0 really got
screwed over big time. I'll worry about updating to 8.0 when and if 7.5
stops working. I have better things to do than to stay up nights worrying
about computer security.
