Oh. I see. Well, I never get such messages. When I launch the Control Center 
or the Scan interface, I always find a notice that reassures me that my AVG 
is up to date and all components are working properly.

The messages reads something like the components are out of date and to
please pay urgent attention to this matter. However, the AVG is doing its
updating and scanning or whatever it does when I have it set to do so. I
have been told that this is the way of the free version of AVG and not to
worry about it.
