With my Radeon 7000 series card and JFW 5.844 in a Windows XP machine I've
just yesterday reduced the hardware acceleration down to 20% and so far JFW
is now reading menus etc normally.

I would like to encourage anyone who posts a message stating how well or how
poorly a particular video card or video chip set works with JFW to give us
the type of information listed here by Ron McEwan. In addition, the
operating system being used should also be mentioned. Without all of this
information, telling us that a certain video card or chip set either works
or doesn't work with JFW has no meaning.
