You probably need to unload and reload JAWS every time you boot up your
computer for JAWS to read properly. I understand that when your computer
first boots up JAWS is running in service mode and does not work as it should.
To stop it from running in service mode, I unload it and then reload it and
that does the trick.

I just got my computer upgraded at work, I have jaws 8.1, and I have
WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL, AND MICROSOFT WORD IS 2003, I HAVE problems using it,
because at the beginning, it will just read anything in word, for a while, and
then it won't , so I have to use control and up arrow to use it, how can I fix
it so i won't have that probelm, also when i tab, with alt, it will read
everything with alt, and tab, or alt and window, how can i fix this, also I
lose focus on jawsand pc curser, can someone help.
