ABBYY Fine Reader; update; Jaws

Hi All

I am aware now for some time that there is an update to ABBYY Fine Reader
8.0 Professional Addition.

Without going into details, a sighted friend of mine who is also using ABBYY
Fine Reader and who updated his version, reckons that I shall have problems
updating ABBYY Fine Reader using Jaws.

Does anybody have any experience in this regard?  Is he correct or can I go
ahead and update my version?
