Hello Daniel.

It is my understanding that you can remove the license from the particular
computer however you can not return a license to the license server at
freedom scientific. This was stated by Eric from freedom scientific at a
trade show that I went to when the Internet activation first came out. It is
possible that things have changed however I doubt it. The option to remove
activation is there for the following reason. Let's say you wanted to use
Jaws for Windows on a family member's computer or a spare computer at a
family member's home. You could install Jaws for Windows and authorize it
while you're there. Remove the authorization just before you leave while
leaving Jaws for Windows installed on the machine and then all you would
have to do next Christmas is just re-authorize Jaws on the machine without
having to install again. In this scenario since you removed the
authorization for Jaws for Windows there is little chance of the same
authorized version of Jaws being ran at the same time.

I hope this helps.

Subject: A question about the item "remove product actavation"

Hi everyone, as the subject says I have a question about this.

I can't find the thread that was talking about this so I thought I'd start
another one that is directly asking about my queried.

Basicly what it all boils down to is that if I was to go to All programmes,
Jaws 12 which is my version, arrow down to tools, and go to remove product
activation, then uninstall Jaws, would I then get that activation count
back, so instead of having 1 I will thenhave that one back that I removed
the activation and then could put it on another computer?

I'm not going to do any of this but I just wanted to know how this works.
Because if memory serves me correctly it was Chris that said that this
couldn't be done but I think it was Dave that said it could. So I would like
to know weather its yes or no. LOL If its no then quite frankly what is the
purpose of having it if we can't move the key around to other computers. It
might as well not be there if you know what I mean! LOL

I would be greatful if this could be explained in detail so I know how it
works.

Many Thanks

Daniel
