RE: A Windows Update

I installed the update I was asking about and as you said it did not
hurt anything.  Although can you please tell me about the windows live
messagener program and defender programs as I am not aware of them or
what they do?

It will not hurt anything.  I have it on my machine with no ill effects.
Its necessary for getting things from MS now a days like defender and
the new live messenger.

Hi all, I started up mystem today and the windows feature of it told me
there was a Windows Genuine Advantage Notification tool available for
install.  I am not sure if getting this update is a good idea as it
doesn’t seem necessary to me and it might cause a problem.  I was
wondering if any of you ever came across this and could advise as what
