You can still run the format command and specify 1.44Mg but I'll bet unless
those floppies are ancient -- as in really ancient -- they come already
formatted.  Just put the floppy in and see what happens when you look at it
through either my computer or the run command.

I have some 3-1/2 floppies. I have never used them. I want to put a few
documents on a disk. I remember in the days of dos you formated the disk. I
have windows 98 second. what should I do. They are microsoft word documents.
