[jawsscripts] Re: software with unfixed ctrl ID

Hi Guys,

Sorry, I am only going by what I was told. I have not actually experimented.

I bow to your actual experience.

oooooh! sorry marlon, I thought it'd been you,
who spoke of the hierarchy of windows not usually altering in realTime, but
I see it was Jim here below. Sorry about that.

Jim my only caveat I can personally bring to the table as to hierarchy's not
always seeming to remain static during a session,
is due to my experimentation with the hotSpotClicker spot Prompter feature,
which to my understanding works on a window hierarchy basis rather than a
frames based approach as the native Jaws Prompt area feature does, not
always being very successful in some applications, like ITunes for example,
say in power search or other of it's forms based stuff.

Have you not found situations yourself in which the hierarchys get messed
with in realTime?

or am I perhaps not up on the full deal with how spot prompter in hsc does
it's thing. I'll have to ask the other jim about that one to check my facts
here.
