Using Windows XP Professional in Microsoft word 2002 and latest release
of Jaws9 beta, I notice the following.
Pressing control+backspace produces inconsistent results. sometimes
the word which was deleted will be spoken, sometimes if for instants a
tab character was deleted, a word from a previous line or above will be
spoken.
control+backspace worked predictably in Jaws 8.0.2173 performing the
same actions in the same file in word 2002.

Explain that? I have the latest jaws 9, full, and vista business, and
it
reads fine, meaning any text on the screen written in word pad reads
back
and the menus and stuff...the only problem that jaws 9 on my machine
has
with editing stuff is that when I press ctrl backspace to delete a
word,
jaws won't speak anything, or will speak the incorrect word. Has
anybody
else experience this problem? Please check and report back...
Thanks, D!J!X!

Please forgive if this is off topic, however, I do niot know who to
ask. I
tried a 40 minute demo mode of JAWS 9.0.353 on Vista Home Premium and
it
would not read Windows WordPad and Word 2003. Is this a bug or a
problem on
my end.
