Andre

You wouldn't pass up an opertunity to carp about FS would you?

You could try Don's solution in the time it took you to write your email.

Not trying to be critical, just saying, there is a unmistakable pattern to
the tone and content of your messages.

My final solution was to simply go back to a version that works. If I had
the hours to do the R&D for Freedom Scientific I would bother, but I paid
for a working product not a product that breaks every update. Hopefully your
suggestion will work for others.

Freedom Scientific did change the format of their Excel Personalized
Settings files during one of the JAWS12 updates. You may need to remove
them and recreate them if you previously had any. If running JAWS 12 in
default mode, where it ignores everything in your user settings folder,
solves the problem, try removing these Personalized Settings. To run in
default mode, press Alt + F4 to stop JAWS. Then press Windows + r, and
type "jaws12 /default", without the quotes.
If you still have a problem in default mode, you may need to install
better video drivers or reinstall the JAWS Display drivers.

There is just so much stuff in the world that, to me, is devoid of any
real substance, value, and content that I just try to make sure that I
am working on things that matter.
