Phil, for those who are not yet into script writing but wish to bring some
greater joy/efficiency to their applications, might I suggest you might like
to give HotSpotClicker a whirl?

Build 192 has a known issue at the moment only just discovered/nutted out,
whereby if you seek to hook hsc into internet explorer, and you don't have
any modifications done to it's jkm file and thus residing in your user
settings directory,
hsc builds  a new JKM to house it's own keys, and thus effectively replacing
the default jkm version, thus wiping out usage of IE keystrokes, which is
fairly non-desirable. <grin.>
But, for new non-preScripted applications, this shouldn't become an issue
for you.

if your relatively comfortable with medium level computer skills, but don't
know syntax of scripting code etc, you might find it brings you some joy.
