[jawsscripts] Re: Using 2 braille displays

Hi Martin,

You have an interesting idea. I suspect that two Braille display drivers
would be needed to be loaded. With USB I'd think this could be done, but
JAWS would have to implement it.

I once experimented with the concept of dividing an 80-cell display into
half, in order to show two lines. My logic was that often, when programming
or sometimes even other writing, it is useful to glance at the previous
line, or perhaps a line even elsewhere on the screen, while not losing the
insertion point, and at the same time maintain immediate reference to what
you are editing on the current line.
I didn't get this to work correctly then and moved on from it. But its still
something I'd like to have.

Subject: [jawsscripts] Using 2 braille displays

Hi there,
Many of my sighted counterparts have the ability to have two
displays
and therefore can do some interesting multi-tasking. I was wondering if
anyone had ever thought of having Jaws work concurrently with two braille
displays? I doubt that it's possible, but it would be an interesting idea.

I'm not sure if this would be possible via scripts as Jaws would need to
have
two braille drivers loaded.
Sorry, just throwing an idea around.
Cheers,
martin
