then you want either VB.net 2008 or VS.net 2008 the latter being the better 
since it has C# in it as well and one app can be translated into another 
with the suite.

the scripts for the 2005 and 2008 dot net IDE's is on my grab bag site along 
with other useful items for working in the .net environment
