Hi Ann

With JAWS 10 build 1142, you don't have to disable one sound card to get
JAWS to use another.  In the JAWS Utilities menu is an item labeled Sound
Cards Submenu, where you can choose which sound card installed on your
system you want JAWS to use.  I believe this submenu was introduced in JAWS
10 build 1139, but was not in the original JAWS 10 release.

Well I have a fairly new PC.  I just heard from my friend who assisted in
the assembly and he says:
You must disable the sound card that you do not want JAWS to use in device
manager, there-for it should always default to the enabled sound card. Then
you re-enable the second sound card to use with your Music software.
I have no idea how to do this.
