Hello all,
I'm in the process of modifying and adding to a set of scripts.
Currently, I have a script that reads a portion of the screen when you hit a
specific key combination, but tooltips are getting in the way making the
script fail to work all the time.
A suggestion from the beta team suggested that I can pull the same
information from the system tray.
I checked, and when the application is loaded, the information I want is
carried in the system tray.
How can I get this information from the system tray and make jaws speak it,
with as little verbage as possible.
For the record here's the very crude script as I have it now.
Script readlistenercont ()
sayString ("Their are currently")
SpeechOff ()
saveCursor ()
RouteJAWSToPC ()
JAWSCursor ()
JAWSPageDown ()
JAWSEnd ()
PriorWord ()
speechOn ()
SayWord ()
RestoreCursor ()
SayString ("Listeners Tuned in right now.")
EndScript
My signiture contains contact details if anyone wants to reach me off list.
Thanks for any help that can be offered.
