Another idea would be to use a varible which is set to the value of number
of lines you wish to fall. Check to see if your action is false or true.

Ok Andy,
I understand you to say that the highlight is moving down a number of
times for each single press of the down arrow key.
Have you investigated the list view functions that begin with l v, such as
lvMoveBy LineUnit or lvSelectItem?
