I think what we're all trying to tell you here is, that there aren't any
modern mature scripts available for this program.
and, that it's thus not going to be a very speech-friendly program to use,
and that it'll be a bit hit and miss as a dvd player on the pc for you.
have you taken Chris's suggestion of looking in jaws13 Help, or google it,
under the feature called "convenient OCR?
basically, are you familiar with what OCR, (optical character recognition,)
is/does?
basically you'd press jawsKey+space, then O, for OCR, \then W, to begin the
OCR process of the currently focused window.
when it's done, the jaws cursor will automatically become activated, and if
it's beenable to, recognize, any bitMap visual text onscreen that isn't
normally available to screenreaders in the normal way, it'll let you
traverse this with the jaws cursor. you may then try left clicking on
anything you feel might be useful. but as soon as you flip away from the app
with altTab, or hit PC cursor key again, the OCR text will be removed.
and you'll have to repeat the process as many times as you need to
experiment with stuff in this realm.
