Tom,

I tested an application that allowed users to change the column order in
the list. JAWS acted exactly the way you have described. The developer
made changes that remedied the problem and the application was released.
I no longer have access to the application to find out the class of the
"listview" but I just wanted you to know you are not alone.  I could not
find anything in JAWS that would make it accept the revised column
order.

Hi,  I spend a lot of time reading logs one of which are the server
event logs.  Jaws reports this window as a listview.  When I change the
orders of the columns jaws still reads them in the default order.
Is this because jaws is reading from the object properties which stay in
the same order and only the display can be changed?
Or is there a way I can get jaws to read in the displayed order?
