[jawsscripts] Re: Jaws Reading listviews

Hi Tom,

Your list is likely generated using the
DlgSelectItemInList (, , , )

function. If the third parameter is set to TRUE, the list will always be
sorted in ascending alphabetical order. If this is not what you want, you
will have to change the flag to FALSE in the actual script.

If this is for your job, ask your scripters to add an option for you to do
this. Put your request in through the IT help desk, then contact the
scripters directly and see what kind of results you get.

If you are the scripter for BMO, hope this helps you know where to look and
make the change.

HTH

Subject: [jawsscripts] Jaws Reading listviews

Hi, I spend a lot of time reading logs one of which are the server
event logs. Jaws reports this window as a listview. When I change the
orders of the columns jaws still reads them in the default order.
Is this because jaws is reading from the object properties which stay in
the same order and only the display can be changed?
Or is there a way I can get jaws to read in the displayed order?

Thanks
